Skip the morning airport queues
Many guests don't realise it, but you can check in for your flight the day before departure directly at the hotel. Often you can also hand in your checked luggage when you arrive — so your last morning is just breakfast and maybe a swim, not a 5 a.m. queue at bag drop.

Not all airlines offer hotel bag drop. Ask reception which carriers are supported today, or check the self-service kiosk in the lobby for your flight.
When to head to the terminal.
Recommended time buffer
Leave the hotel with enough time to pass security and reach your gate. These are the minimum buffers we recommend from the hotel lobby.
Before scheduled departure.
Passport control takes longer.
Add extra time in summer, Easter, and Christmas.
Security queues build up from 06:00.
The hotel is inside the terminal, so "going to the airport" usually means a 2–5 minute walk to security. You are already there.
Security & transfer
Standard security lanes open 24/7. Fast Track is available for premium tickets and some loyalty cards. If you are transferring, follow the red "Transfer" signs; you rarely need to leave the secure area between international flights.

Transfer between flights
CPH is a compact airport. Most transfers between Schengen and non-Schengen gates take 15–25 minutes, including passport control. If you are staying overnight, the hotel is directly connected to the terminal so you never need to leave the building.
Copenhagen is closer than you think.
Metro to Copenhagen city
BestM2 (yellow line) runs 24/7 from CPH Lufthavnen station, directly beneath Terminal 3. To Nørreport in the city centre: 15 minutes.
To the terminals
Covered walkway from the hotel lobby directly into Terminal 3 — arrivals level. Follow the yellow signs.
Taxi to city centre
Taxi rank is outside Terminal 3, one level down from the hotel. Card payment accepted in all taxis.
Train to Malmö, Sweden
The Øresund train stops at the airport station. Direct to Malmö C. Bring a passport — this crosses the border.
Buy metro tickets from machines at the station (card only) or the DOT Tickets app. A City Pass Small covers all transport in central Copenhagen including the airport.

Metro to Kongens Nytorv → walk to Nyhavn → coffee at a canal-side café → Metro back.
